1. Introduction
Welcome to LolaHome. The below Terms and Conditions apply to clients accessing or using our services
2. Definitions
• "Services": Refers to the decluttering, organising, consultation, and any other services provided by LolaHome.
• "Client": Refers to any individual or entity that uses the services provided by LolaHome.
• "Website": Refers to the LolaHome website located at www.lolahome.au
3. Services
3.1 Service Descriptions
LolaHome offers a range of services including but not limited to: Decluttering and Organising, Maintenance Services, Specialised Services, Ongoing Support
3.2 Booking and Confirmation: A service booking is confirmed only after receiving a 20% deposit. LolaHome reserves the right to accept or decline any booking request at its discretion.
4. Client Responsibilities
4.1 Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate and complete information when booking services and during the consultation process.
4.2 Access and Safety: Clients must ensure that the service area is accessible and free from hazards. Clients are advised to avoid the working area during the organisation process for safety reasons.
5. Payments and Cancellations
5.1 Payment Terms: A deposit of 20% is required upon booking confirmation. The remaining balance is due upon completion of services.
5.2 Travel Charge: for distances above 30 mins (round trip). Travel charge is calculated as $0.99 per km * kilometres travelled. For out of state services, travel cost is fully covered by the client.
5.3 Payments can be made via debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay.
5.4 Card Processing Fee on debit or credit payment - 1.75% + 30¢ per transaction except Alipay - 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction
5.5 Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within less than 48 hours will incur a cancellation fee of 10% of the scheduled service cost. Clients may reschedule appointments up to 24 hours in advance without any penalty.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy
6.1 Confidentiality: LolaHome respects your privacy and handles all personal information and belongings with the utmost confidentiality. Details about your home, lifestyle, and preferences are kept strictly confidential.
6.2 Data Security: Personal information collected during the consultation and service process is stored securely in compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
7. Liability
7.1 Limitation of Liability: To the extent permitted by law, LolaHome is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service provided.
7.2 Damage and Loss: While every effort is made to handle items with care, LolaHome is not responsible for any damage or loss of items during the service unless caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
8.1 Quality of Service: LolaHome is committed to providing high-quality services. If you are not satisfied with our work, please inform us within 7 days so we can address any issues.
8.2 Follow-Up: We offer a follow-up session within 30 days of service completion to ensure your satisfaction and address any additional needs.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
LolaHome reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Clients are encouraged to review these terms and conditions periodically.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Western Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Western Australia.
